As you might have notice, you've recently received your rent receipt.
What is it ?
A rent receipt is a document that certifies that the tenant has paid the rent and charges in full for the given period.
Attention: do not confuse the rent receipt with the notice of payment which is sent before the due date of the rent.
What for ?
This is a proof of full payment of the rent for the previous month. It might be asked from you for some administrative procedures.
You'll receive it at the same time than the notice of payement of the following month, only if you've proceeded to the payment of the rent of the given period.
What are the conditions for receiving a rent receipt?
To receive your rent receipt, your rental balance must not be negative. Any receipt that could not have been sent to you due to a negative rental balance will be sent when this same balance becomes zero or positive.
Attention: if you are sharing an appartment with you co-tenants, a single rent receipt is issued in the name of all tenants, for the total amount of the rent. And this even if each roommate has paid separately.
